Starting from Mettlach, discover the most beautiful sections of the Saar on a varied, approx. 90-minute round trip through the Saarschleife (Great Bend of the Saar). Including lock passage.

Saar Loop Tour

Right at the start of the journey, the Mettlach lock gently lifts the ship. You will then glide through the nature reserve of the 7 km long Saarschleife. Here, the river makes a 300° loop. Our ship passes the small ferry and turns around at Dreisbach. The trip ends back in Mettlach – the perfect opportunity to visit the Villeroy & Boch Ceramics Museum and the Abbey Brewery.
